Students may also learn harmonies and should be prepared to dance at the audition.  Please come prepared with proper attire (sneakers or dance shoes), any possible rehearsal conflicts for the year, and any possible competition/performance conflicts during January to June 2023.  Conflicts given after the audition date will not be accepted.  A specific rehearsal schedule will be provided at the audition.  Students will be needed for the entire audition timeframe, so please arrive promptly and plan to stay for the entirety of the audition.  There will be a brief parent meeting at the start of the audition to explain program expectations and requirements.  At least one parent or guardian is expected to attend.

Rehearsals will generally take place on Tuesdays from 6:00PM-9:00PM starting on Tuesday September 20th, 2022.  A rehearsal schedule will be provided at the audition, containing specifics and additional possible rehearsals.  Students will rehearse for a 30-minute showcase with contrasting musical theatre and pop selections, and will be expected to sing, dance, and act.  Solos will be available by audition, but are not guaranteed.

Yearly tuition for September 2022 to May/June 2023 is $2,000.  Competition fees, costume, and a t-shirt are included in program cost, as well as hotel for out-of-state competition travel fees.  Hotel rooms will consist of three or four students per hotel room.  Price does not include transportation.  Full payment will be required by September 1, 2022, or one payment of $1,050 will be due by September 1, 2022 and one payment of $1,050 will be due by December 1, 2022.  Scholarships may be available based on audition and financial need.  Scholarship applications will be available at the audition.

Competition information will be dependent on the size and makeup of the group.  We understand it is difficult to plan so far in advance, but weekend conflicts between January through June 2023 will be taken into consideration when creating the competition schedule.  Please be prepared to share these conflicts at the audition and we will do our best to accommodate.

If you cannot attend the audition in person, we are accepting video auditions up until Thursday July 28th, 2022 for students entering Grades 6-9.  For the video audition, students must perform two of the songs listed above memorized.  Email your audition video to: with the subject:  Argyle Accents Audition 2022-2023
