Misty Mountain, has emerged on the scene as a rocking tribute band blasting the songs of Led Zeppelin across Long Island. With guitar licks reminiscent of Jimmy Page and howling vocals that bring back memories of Robert Plant, the band transports audiences back to the days of power rock and roll.
The band started to come together in 2017 when lead guitarist Elliot Negrin and lead singer Ed Terry met on the local scene performing together in different projects. Both had a long love affair with the Led Zeppelin sound and started to put together a band ready to pay tribute to the rock legends. As the pair started to explore possibilities, they realized a seed had sprung and a group was needed to blast the power of Led Zeppelin’s music.
The band was complete with the addition of Shawn Murray on drums and Alan Levy on bass. The four accomplished musicians of Misty Mountain started blending and developed a sound eerily similar to Led Zeppelin’s performances.
From 2017-2022, Misty Mountain has mesmerized 6000+ crowds at many outdoor NY concerts. They have performed at Eisenhower Park, Jones Beach Bandshell, Glen Cove, Medford, Mineola, Cedar Beach, Overlook Beach and many more. Additionally, they also have been a main attraction for popular NY venues such as The Cutting Room, Mulcahy’s, The Warehouse, 89 North, and The Barnum Ballroom.
Misty Mountain has recently made its national presence in South Florida with 4 tours to The Funky Biscuit in Boca Raton, Florida - to sold-out houses.
The band’s mission for the upcoming year includes expanding its 2023 tour throughout the country and bringing the energy and sound of Led Zeppelin to multiple venues.
