The Argyle Theatre is pleased to announce the return of the "Back to Broadway" event Series! Which will showcase Broadway Stars, on The Argyle stage. Created exclusively for The Argyle by New York Casting Director and Producer Stephen DeAngelis, the cast will recreate their most memorable musical moments and career highlights as well as demonstrate their versatility, share backstage behind-the-scenes anecdotes and participate in an enlightening and entertaining question-and–answer session with the audience. Broadway Family Favorites is family-friendly celebration of musical theatre with something for audience members of all ages whether it be toe-tapping tunes, clever lyrics or charismatic characters. This all-new concert event will be created and hosted by StephenDeAngelis exclusively for our audience and will showcase the talents of five of Broadway's finest vocalists who will illuminate the stage with songs from classic and contemporary musicals based on timeless children's stories and animated films. The performance will include musical selections from Frozen; Aladdin; The Sound of Music; Annie; Mary Poppins; The Little Mermaid; The King and I; The Lion King; Matilda The Musical; The Wizard of Oz and more!!! Scheduled performers include 2X Tony Award nominee and 2X Drama Desk Award winner Gavin Lee (original Bert in Mary Poppins; original Squidward inSpongeBob SquarePants The Musical; Thernardier in Les Miserables). The concert will also include an enlightening and entertaining question and answer session with the audience. It's a perfect way to introduce younger audience members to the stage and to create and share new memories.
